Hello, thanks for the oemmcnt! I would say that any pair of binoculars with an objective lens of 80mm will be good for astronomy and show you plenty of stars invisible to the naked eye. I have not tried the 25-125 80 pair myself but should gather plenty of light, some people say that zoom binoculars are hard to focus but I can't oemmcnt on that without experience. A cheaper option might be something like the skymaster 15 70 but you will be fixed at a low magnification .
